Review: Mary, Mary by James Patterson (Alex Cross #11)

Mary, Mary (Alex Cross, #11) Mary, Mary (Alex Cross, #11) by James Patterson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

For my first crime novel since Famous Five, i have to say i was hooked! Really James Patterson delivered this novel superbly, so much so that i didn’t want to put the book down.

There was just something about the way he wrote the whole novel that just had you hooked. The switching of POVs was the best. You got to see everything from three different perspectives and everything was interconnected.

Till the very end, before they revealed the truth, i really thought that Mary Wagner was actually spending time with her children, but in reality she was hallucinating it all.
Plus there was something scary about the way the killer was killing all the mother actresses and slicing up their faces. But i know why now…he wanted the murders to somehow be connected to Mary Wagner so that he could never be suspected, like that stopped Dr. Alex Cross.

This was my first crime novel and James Patterson novel, loved it!
